Olympia Le-Tan's Picasso x Simon de Pury collection recreates Picasso artworks using embroidery handiwork that take up to 300 hours each to perfect. Originally intended to be a self-portrait,  Arlequin au miroirwas completed after Picasso returned from a trip to Italy. Here you see Picasso drawing inspiration from the classics he saw on his trip with his Cubist approach.

Olympia Le-Tan's Picasso x Simon de Pury collection recreates Picasso artworks using embroidery handiwork that take up to 300 hours to perfect each. Le rêve is a 1932 portrait of Picasso’s mistress Marie-Thérèse Walter, painted during a period where he was distorting his subjects, while using simple outlines and contrasting colors. For de Pury who curated this collection, “Le rêve is a painting that has always made me rêve, or ‘dream’.
