About this Collection
Considered one of Mexico’s greatest artists, Frida Kahlo is remembered for many things: her iconic eyebrows, her uncompromising self-portraits, and her genius use of color. Having suffered most of her life from physical pain, Kahlo found refuge in her art. Whatever her medium, whether it was painting, drawing, or writing, Kahlo was always generous with her feelings, vision, and unmatched sensitivity. Beyond her art, she lived life to the fullest, always sporting and trying out bold fashions and taking on some of the world’s most famous lovers. We pay homage to her legacy in this collection with two models, the book clutch and Dizzie. Both portraits are hand-stitched in OLT's atelier.
