Inspired by the Spitalfields Mantua, a stunning 18^th century dress of English silk, typical of that worn by women attending the Georgian Royal court during this period. The silk has been brocaded with woven flower motifs. These magnificent mantua dresses could take a year to produce by the most skilled seamstresses of the day.
