About this Collection
Brazil’s oldest and most celebrated pharmacy is marking its 150th Birthday with a beautiful partnership with the Paris-based brand Olympia Le-Tan. Founded by a Portuguese apothecary named José Antonio Coxito Granado, it opened its doors in 1870 in the heart of Rio de Janeiro, selling herbal remedies and cosmetics made from plants cultivated in its owner’s private garden in the mountains of Teresopólis. Not long after, it was appointed official pharmacy to Brazil’s royal family. Inspired by Granado’s history and stunning vintage aesthetic, OLT presents a Limited Edition new book clutch featuring the Granado coffee table to celebrate the brands 150th Birthday. What makes it special? This is the first OLT clutch to feature front-to-back embroidery - a stitching process that takes OLT’s craftsmen four days in total. Available in strapped and non-strapped versions, with a gold-plated brass frame and signature Liberty print lining, it’s the perfect new addition to OLT's incredibly successful Voyages collection.
