General Condition of sales
ARTICLE 1 - FIELD OF APPLICATION
These general conditions of sale apply to all sales on the olympialetan.com website. They set the reciprocal rights and obligations of the seller and all of its buyers, for all sales contracts, unless expressly agreed in writing and accepted by both parties. Any clause appearing on a document emanating from the buyer and in particular in its conditions of purchase is deemed unwritten, unless expressly accepted by our company. These conditions are mandatory and their acceptance is compulsory. The customer declares to have read and accepted the general conditions of sale prior to placing the order.
ARTICLE 2 - ACCEPTANCE OF ORDER
The buyer has the option of placing an order online, from the online catalog and using the form shown there, for any product, while stocks last. The buyer will be informed of any unavailability of the product or of the goods ordered.
For the order to be validated, the buyer must accept these general conditions. He must also choose the delivery address and confirm the payment method.
The sale will be considered final :
- After receipt by the seller of the full price
- After sending to the buyer confirmation of acceptance of the order by the seller by email.
Order options can no longer be changed after payment, in particular the option with strap or without straps of the book clutch.
Any order implies acceptance of the prices and description of the products available for sale.
In certain cases, notably default of payment, wrong address or other problem on the buyer's account, the seller reserves the right to block the buyer's order until the problem is resolved.
For any question relating to the follow-up of an order, the buyer can send an email to the seller at the following email address : email@example.com.
Regarding bespoke book clutches :
Once the design of the model has been approved and paid for, only minor changes to the embroidery will be possible. If however the buyer wants to make a big change, if it is possible it will entail an additional cost. Once the order has been paid, the order cannot be canceled because the production process has started and takes 3 months from the validation of the model (except the month of August, factories closed, so additional time in this period and special situation as delays due to COVID).
Regarding pre orders :
Pre orders are products that are made on demand and can be customized. Once the order for a pre-order has been paid, the order cannot be canceled because the production process has started. If the buyers order is made out of customized pre-orders, cancellation and reimbursement are not possible. We make every effort to respect the indicative deadline of 40 days for production, the shipment is not included in this deadline. In no case can the displacement of this period represent a criterion for an order cancellation.
ARTICLE 3 - DELIVERY TIMES AND OTHER TIME PERIODS
Shipping timings and all other timings are always given.
The delay cannot, in any case, be invoked as a cause for cancellation of the order and does not give right to any compensation.
ARTICLE 4 - TRANSPORTATION AND COMPLAINTS
We ship worldwide for free.
Delivery means the transfer to the consumer of physical possession or control of the goods. The products ordered are delivered in the manner and within the time specified when placing the order. The products are delivered to the address indicated by the buyer on the order form, the buyer must ensure its accuracy. Any package returned to the seller because of an incorrect or incomplete delivery address will be redirected at the buyer's expense. The buyer can, at his request, obtain the sending of an invoice to the billing address and not to the delivery address, by validating the option provided for this purpose on the order form.
Our goods are sold from the logistics center, shop or factory, including shipping costs, if delivery outside the European Union does not include duties and taxes.
It is the customer's responsibility to notify OLT if the delivery address has changed before delivery. If the delivery indicated to OLT was not up to date and caused the loss of the parcel, this represents the responsibility of the buyer. The authentic shipping address is the one indicated on the order confirmation and sent to the customer for validation.
All our shipments being individually checked from our warehouses (weight and packaging) we can only insist too strongly with our customers for effective control to be ensured by them at the time of delivery. Any complaint concerning the content or the content of the consignments can only be taken into consideration if it is notified to us within 72 hours of its receipt.
Any dispute over the goods must be notified by minimum e-mail within 24 or 48 hours of receipt of the said goods at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Any delivery problem must be notified by email at email@example.com maximum 20 days after the shipment, after the 20 days we let you manage directly with the carrier.
ARTICLE 5 – DUTIES AND TAXES
For countries outside the European Union the delivery costs are at the expense of the seller only all duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer because the sale is therefore made without taxes. All duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
If the buyer then refuses to deliver the package, the package will then be returned to the starting address.
The possible costs of a re-delivery will be billed to the buyer.

ARTICLE 6 - RETURN OF MERCHANDISE
The buyer can make a return, (see special conditions for personalized products), within 14 days of receipt of the order. For any return of goods, the buyer must contact firstname.lastname@example.org. The costs of returning the product will be at the expense of the buyer. The buyer must provide the seller with the return tracking number. The value declared for any product return outside the European Union must be equal to or less than 10 € because there is no commercial value for a returned product. Please contact email@example.com in order to know what to do.
Once the products have been returned a product quality check will be made and once the product status has been validated, reimbursement will be made using the same payment method on which the order was placed. Reimbursement can take up to 14 days after validation of the quality. The bag must be returned with the protection on the frame. The articles incriminated for manufacturing or quality defect are analyzed by us before final acceptance of the return and the establishment of a credit note.
Our obligations are limited to the reimbursement of goods recognized as defective by the company to the exclusion of any compensation for direct or indirect damage. Defects admissible for returns of goods :
- Blatant errors on the embroidery, spelling mistake, design not faithful to the model ordered. It is important to take into account that all embroideries are done by hand and that therefore they are not all perfectly identical. Minor differences in embroidery will not be accepted.
- The bag received is strapped while the one was ordered not strapped on the order confirmation.
- Any other defect will be analyzed by the seller
OLT offers the possibility to its customers to personalize the products ordered. Note that the return, exchange and reimbursement of products with personalization is impossible. Customizations : adding initials, phrase, date .. etc.
ARTICLE 7 – PRICE
The online indicative prices are based on a VAT rate of 20% if you are in the European Union. If you are outside the European Union the price indicated is VAT excluded, this being applied when the parcel is received by the buyer.
ARTICLE 8 – PAYMENT
This is an order with payment obligation, which means that placing the order involves a buyers payment. To settle an order, the buyer has, at his choice, all payment methods made available to him by the seller listed on the seller's site. The buyer guarantees to the seller that he has the necessary authorizations to use the payment method chosen by him, during the validation of the order form. The payment is made in full on the day of the order, according to the following terms:
- Credit card
In the extreme exceptional cases where we accept a payment in part, the second part of the sum is fully due before sending the order, if however the customer refuses to pay the rest, the seller remains fully owner of the products as long as the total amount has not not been settled. All payments made on the olympialetan.com website are secure.
ARTICLE 9 - APPLICABLE JURISDICTION CLAUSE
By express agreement, any dispute will be submitted exclusively to the Commercial Court of PARIS which will be solely competent without our ever being able to be brought before another court, even in the case of defendants, warranty claims, incidents or clauses contrary or compromissory jurisdiction, the various methods of shipping or payment, our provisions, as well as the place of delivery can operate neither novation nor derogation from this clause conferring jurisdiction.
ARTICLE 10 - REASSIGNMENT OF MERCHANDISE
Our customers formally forbidden to, directly or indirectly, reproduce in whole or in part, in France or outside of France, the models they have purchased. Any violation of this provision would automatically result in the termination of our commercial relations without prejudging legitimate damages which we reserve the right to claim in compensation for the damage suffered.
ARTICLE 11 - RETENTION OF TITLE CLAUSE
Our goods are sold with a retention of title clause in accordance with the law of May 12, 1980.
The goods remain the property of our company until full payment of the price. This clause is applicable to any branded merchandise without the seller having to prove origin.
